giles is poking out from inside my hood =]
This blog is how I, and others I know, cope with depression/anxiety/ bullying/ and other things that don't go the way we wish they would. I try to provide information about [mostly psychological] disorders as well as treatment options. I try to make the information more understandable and more hopeful. =D
Intro
As I state above, this is my blog on my struggles and how I fight thru it all. (I'm explaining in two places to make my blog more accessible lol... still learning all this stuff) Let me introduce myself, I will not be using my real name, nor any real names of people included in this, meaning names will be changed so don't try to google them =] ) Ok, so the name I will be using is Dessy, it's a nickname I was given years ago. This is simply a blog on what I've been thru and what I am doing to combat them, my intensions being to provide myself an outlet and provide others who struggle in similiar ways with hope. I hope you enjoy and please no negative comments (this is a blog for hope!)

Coping with a loved one passing away
Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be hard. My granny passed away 11 years ago and I still get upset about it on the anniversary of her death. But it no longer hurts to think about it. A healthy way to cope is to cry, I'm serious, go ahead and cry. There's no shame in mourning a loss. The important thing to remember is not to let it consume your life. Mourn for a bit, but eventually go about your life. You can continue living without forgetting them.

Time associated stress
Some people stress when they are running late. Here's a video about how to cope with running late and/or struggling to be on time.
I talk about planning ahead, plan what you need and how much time you need to get ready. Lists can be your best friend. =]
I also talk about how to cope when things don't go as planned. Sometimes things go wrong. It's important to remember that stuff happens and the world is always changing. Take life in stride.

Lying
When you lie to someone, it's like saying "I'm lying to you because I don't think you're worth the truth" Think about that the next time you wanna lie to someone. Do you care about them? Do they mean a lot to you? Then why lie? They ARE eventually going to find out the truth, and then you lose their trust! What's more important: their trust or getting away with something temporarily?
